It's possible that as a condition of your loan the lender will require certain repairs be made if they request and receive a copy of the home inspection or if the appraiser makes a comment. If this happens, you will need to negotiate with the seller as to who will be responsible for completing these and who will pay for them.

Before committing to a specific loan, be sure to ask your mortgage professional if the loan may have any home condition requirements.
